The Maritime Museum houses several wooden boats, built by renowned local boatbuilders. Bernard Wilson is one of these, who, along with help from a small and dedicated team, have restored and built wooden dinghies, including ‘The Last One’ a Huon Pine dinghy. Built from scratch, this boat was displayed at the 2025 Wooden Boat Festival. ‘The Last One’ is now displayed in the Maritime Museum along with the ‘Teba, the ‘Mavis Pearl’ and the ‘Lizard’.
